In brief 🩲

  • Journal: Apologising for an ambulance I never called
  • Practical: To attain an immaculate separation of work and personal life
  • Art: The simple truth is in the margins
  • Read: Should I throw all caution to the wind, or just... some of it?

In the dark of the early morning our dog Teddy started barking and Vic woke me, saying she could hear someone fiddling with the fly screen on the front door.

I walked out in my boxers to a paramedic in high-vis gear and a mask, shining a phone-torch light through our front-door window.

“Did you call an ambulance?” the paramedic asked through the glass.
