From the journal 📖
My kids are thrashy sleepers. A few hours after they’ve gone to bed, and before I retire for the evening, I go and re-tuck them in. This generally involves re-making their bed around them, because they’ve completely corkscrewed the sheet and blanket around their bodies, and have started to stew in their own heat.
Sometimes my son Neko will wake up when I do this. Well, he’ll sit up and his eyes will be open – but really he’s still asleep. And he will say the strangest stuff.
